Management Team

Ms. Carla Fehr

Co-Founder, CEO & Board Member

A former bilingual flight attendant turned quality assurance auditor in the airline industry, Carla brings deep organizational skills to the role of Executive Director with a strong focus on managing procedural compliance and good governance, and the ability to build community partnerships and grow stakeholder relationships.

Carla’s vision is to ensure that the National Pet Care Fund continues to have the resources it needs to help ensure that no companion animals are denied the urgent medical care they need. The NPCF provides low-income Canadians with financial assistance to cover part of the urgent medical needs of their companion animals.

As a co-founder of the charity and an owner of 4 dogs (one a rescue, and one re-homed), Carla also brings deep personal experience to the role having lived through difficult economic times as a single parent and dog owner, facing the same difficult financial distress and decisions so many fellow pet parents must deal with every day.
